AFRICAN INSPIRED 2013
Dream Camp 2012
Celebrating Inspiring African-American History
February 29th only comes once every four years so what better way to spend it than joining the Village Summit, Men Making a Difference, New World Flood, Lunch with a Purpose & the greater Lansing community as we celebrated inspiration fought for. There was dinner from Bravo Cucina, amazing cupcakes from The Cupcake Diva herself, lots of inspiring speakers & projects and performances at Pleasant View Magnet School, Lansing, MI.
In honor of Black History Month and to encourage education empowerment, Todd Duckett hosted an evening including dance performances by Daystar Community Outreach Church, wonderful project presentation from girls of Gateway Community Services and many inspiring poems & essays from students of Pleasant VIew. A beautiful meal & evening of inspiration & fellowship was shared by all.
Inspiring in February & always...

Lunch With A Purpose & Ingham Regional Healthcare Foundation
"CUTS FOR CANCER"
The Lunch With A Purpose, Inc. partnered with the Ingham Regional Health Foundation (IRHF) and raised awareness and over $22,000 for their breast cancer research center.
Partnering with the IRHF will allow us to continue to bring awareness to the fight against cancer.
Spearheading this partnership was Spartan great and former NFL running back Todd TJ Duckett, co-founder of the LWP Foundation. Along with Duckett, current and former Spartans, as well as other active members of the Lansing community, we reached out in an effort to get everyone involved in raising awareness and funds for the Ingham Regional Healthcare Foundation. Special thanks to the participants (left to right in photo: Chris VanWyck, Todd Duckett, Michael Doherty, Eric Frohriep, Dujuan Wiley!
